Dog Wars a Beginning

Flags of the Wolfenstein Empire Infantry

This past spring, I ran a linked campaign for my Imaginations of the Wolfenstein Empire’s attempt to retake lost territory from the Union of Pacts Commonwealth (UPC). The rules used throughout were Keith Flint’s Post of Honour. I like these better than the Honours of War rules he published through Osprey because of the size of games I run. These are typically 10-14 players, so fast play and memorable mechanics are a must.

The figures I use are from Alternative Armies. They are part of their Flintloque/Slaughterloo line of Valon. The Pudigrochumsburg Dogmen to be specific. I have 3 factions at present. The main 2, Empire and UPC, have nearly identical mixes of 8 Line, 2 Converged Grenadier, a Guard, 2 Light Infantry, and 4 batteries of Artillery. The UPC has 2 Cuirassier, 2 Dragoon and 3 Hussar cavalry groups, while the Empire has double that. The third faction, the Principality of Mutts has around half the forces of the Empire as I use them to bolster whichever side needs more troops for a game.

A quick photo spread of the armies follows.
